CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Garett Schaefer rushed for 169 yards and two scores to lead Scott City to a 27-6 victory against archrival Chaffee on Friday night.
The Rams controlled the ball for 15 minutes, 10 seconds in the first half. They gained 216 yards to the Red Devils' 68 while building a 15-0 lead at the intermission.
Scott City capitalized on two fumbles and an interception to down Chaffee.
Brandon Deprow scored twice and rushed for 33 yards for the Rams.
Chaffee's points came on Mike Rutherford's 23-yard pass from Jordan Yahn.
The Red Devils had won the last two meetings after Scott City had won the previous 21 meetings.
