The Scott City boys basketball team remained perfect through four games with a 70-38 drubbing of Poplar Bluff at home Tuesday night.
The Rams bolted to a 19-2 lead after one period and a 36-11 advantage at halftime.
Six-foot-5 senior center Alex King led the Rams with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while guard Jay Simmons recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds. Shae Simmons added 10 points, and Caleb Estes chipped in with 12. Derrick Laxton had six rebounds and five assists.
Jay Raulston led the Mules with 16 points.

Willen had missed the first five games with a stress fracture in his ankle.

Debra Hall netted 21 points as the Hawks posted a 15-point win over Clearwater in the quarterfinal round of the Twin Rivers Christmas Tournament on Tuesday night.
Londyn Backfisch added 14 points and Kayla Cissell scored 10 for the Hawks (6-1), who had fallen behind 13-12 after the first quarter but battled back to take a nine-point lead by halftime.
