SIKESTON — Scott County Central earned a tough win over Delta on Friday, Dec. 8, gaining valuable ground in both the conference and district standings.
Led by Asher Britt's 21 points and flawless 9-for-9 free throw shooting, the Braves (3-2) outlasted the Bobcats (0-2), securing a hard-fought 76-71
“Delta didn’t make it easy,” said SCC coach Tim Carlisle. “They play with a lot of energy, are well coached, and shot the ball well tonight. We were able to get everyone involved tonight. We battled foul trouble all night and our bench played huge minutes for us.”
