Saxony Lutheran completed play in its first Christmas tournament with a perfect 3-0 mark by beating Ste. Genevieve Valle Catholic 59-22 on Thursday night.
The Crusaders (7-1) were led by Tim Lorenz, who scored 12 points. Three other Saxony Lutheran players -- Trey Maevers, Alex Jauch and Casey Petzoldt -- added 10 points apiece, while Lauren Lueders scored nine points, all on 3-pointers.
Saxony committed only five fouls in the game.
Sean Odneal led Valle, which scored no more than seven points in any period, with eight points.
"We really focused on our halfcourt defense this week," Crusaders coach John Daniel said. "I was really pleased we held all three teams below 40 points."
Saxony plays Oak Ridge on Tuesday and plays Notre Dame on Jan. 8 in Central's Tiger Shootout.

Zalma outscored Christ Our Savior Lutheran of Evansville, Ill., 9-2 in the overtime period to post a victory in Saxony Lutheran's Christmas Tournament.
Zalma finished second in the tournament with a 2-1 mark in the four-team round-robin event, while COSL finished 1-2.
Adam Pixley scored 20 points, including three 3-pointers, for the Bulldogs and finished the tourney with 45 points. Kyle Conley added 11 points.

The Pirates managed just eight points in the first half while falling behind 31-8 in a consolation bracket loss at the Park Hills Central Christmas Tournament.
Philip Buerck was the only Perryville player in double figures with 13 points. Jacob Hayden and Andrew Norman each added eight points, while Scott Ozark scored seven.
Ryan Blankenship led North County with 11 points.
North County plays Park Hills Central today in the consolation final. Farmington and South Iron will meet for the tournament championship.
