The Crusaders moved up to No. 1 in the latest Class 3 poll by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.

Saxony, which improved to 21-2 on Monday, previously had been ranked No. 2.

The Leopold boys are among two local boys team ranked in the MBCA polls. The Wildcats (21-2) are No. 2 in Class 1, while Oran (22-3) is No. 7 in Class 2.

Other teams from around Southeast Missouri also rank highly, including Sikeston at No. 1 in the boys Class 4 poll, Charleston's boys at No. 3 in Class 3, and Dexter's girls at No. 5 in Class 4.
