Saxony Lutheran shuts out North County in boys soccer

Garrett Fritsche scored two goals and had one assist to help lead the Saxony Lutheran boys soccer team to a 4-0 victory against North County on Thursday night.

Andrew Etzold and Bryant Steffens each scored a goal for the Crusaders. Mark Buerck recorded two assists.

Rita Walter recorded seven kills and Carissa Wheeler added six kills and four digs in the Tigers' road win.

The Indians improved to 19-8-1 behind Chelsea Olson's 11 digs and 19 assists.

Megan Spooler recorded six kills and 11 digs while Jill Rushin had six kills and eight blocks for the Indians.

Katelyn Myracle chipped in with eight digs for Jackson.

Rachel Spears led the Cubs to a road victory with nine kills.

Sarah DeWilde recorded a team-high eight kills while Brooke Brown added five kills and five digs for the Indians (25-5-2).

Brooke Hayden also added five kills and three blocks.

Lacey Siegmund finished with 12 assists and five digs for Jackson.
