Zach Richardet shot a 76 on Monday at Sikeston Country Club, beating fellow recent St. Vincent graduate Corey Brueckner in the Tour division competition in the 16- to 19-year-old boys division.

The event was the next-to-last stop for the Gateway PGA Junior golf series in Southeast Missouri. The final stop is scheduled for Friday at Westwood Hills Country Club in Poplar Bluff.

Richardet and Brueckner helped St. Vincent finish fourth in the Class 1 state tournament earlier this spring.

Brueckner, who had won the tour's June 6 event at Hidden Trails in Dexter, shot an 80 on Monday. Alex Reid of Jackson carded an 82 for third place.

In the 14-15 Tour division, Tanner McKinney shot a 76 to beat Eric Hayes' 81.

In the 16-19 boys 18-hole regular division, Brett Martindale shot a 91 for first place. He was two strokes ahead of Daniel Oliver and three ahead of Justin Fields.

In the 14-15 boys 18-hole division, Ryan Richardson shot a 77, followed by Brandon Pleimann (82) and Corey Fowler (84).

In the 12-13 boys 18-hole division, Corey Connell's 94 was one stroke better than the scores posted by Jesse Hency and Cody Cox.

Emily Matthews shot a 92 to win the 16-19 girls division.

In 9-hole play, Luke Mueller's 63 was two strokes better than Grant Gray's 65 for 14-18 boys; the 12-13 boys group was topped by Tyler Arpin's 51 while Zach Downing shot a 53 and Gunnar Knudtson had a 54; and Jack Litzelfelner fired a 52 to lead the 10-11 boys, while Garrett Callahan had a 58 and Gabe Wheeler shot a 60.
