Junior Dustin Renfrow allowed four hits and one unearned run Saturday as Southeast Missouri State defeated Cleveland State 3-1 in the first of a two-game set.

Renfrow struck out six before being relieved. Ivan Nails picked up the save by recording the final out with the bases loaded.

Freshman Jim Klocke had a two-run double in the second inning to put Southeast ahead 2-0. Omar Padilla drove in Matt Wulfers in the seventh inning.

Nick Harris and Dustin Pritchett each had two hits.
