The Southeast Missouri State softball team exchanged shutouts with nonconference opponent St. Louis University on Tuesday.

After dropping the first game 3-0, the Redhawks romped 9-0 in a second game, which was shortened to five innings by the eight-run mercy rule.

Freshmen Jenn Monaghan and Lauren Bradley both had two hits, while Summers added two RBIs.
