The Southeast Missouri State volleyball team won two matches and captured the Tiger Invitational, hosted by the University of Memphis.

The Redhawks (5-6) beat Louisiana Tech 30-21, 24-30, 30-21, 30-28, and then topped Lipscomb 23-30, 30-24, 30-24, 30-18 to capture the first in-season title under second-year coach Renata Nowacki. Southeast won all four of its tournament matches.

Jessica Koeper tied a career high with 28 kills in the opening win. She added 23 kills and 12 digs in the second match. Redhawks freshman Taylor Harbster had 40 digs combined in the two matches. Tournament MVP Jamie Baumstark recorded 51 assists in each match.

Koeper and Harbster also made the all-tourney team.
