Southeast, the defending OVC tournament champion, improved to 4-2-1 overall. Morehead is 1-6.

The Redhawks led 2-0 at halftime, getting a goal from Courtney Alexander in the opening 2 minutes and a goal by Ashley Runion late in the period.

Alaina Lacopo assisted on Alexander's goal, while Alexander assisted on Runion's tally.

Morehead scored twice in the opening 20 minutes of the second half to tie things, before Kraft netted the game winner.

Baseball recruiting ranked

Southeast baseball has been ranked on the list of the top 100 recruiting classes for the 2008 season by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.

The Redhawks' incoming class ranks 91st nationally among 282 Division I programs. Samford was the only other OVC program on the list, ranking 75th.

LSU is rated first, with Florida State, Oregon State, Notre Dame and UCLA rounding out the top five.

"It's great, this is the highest ranking we've had, and to my knowledge, it's the first time we've been in the top 100," Southeast coach Mark Hogan said in a release. "It's well deserved with the talent of the kids we brought in here, and I tip my hat to the job that [assistant coaches] Jeff Dodson and Chris Cafalone did."

Southeast signed 11 players to national letters of intent for the 2008 season.

The Redhawks, who began fall practice recently, will hold a game-type scrimmage at 11 a.m. today at Capaha Field.
