The Southeast Missouri State women's soccer program recently signed three high school seniors to national letters of intent.

Torey Byrd, Julia "Ellie" Hight and Erin Shulman will join the Redhawks for the 2011 season.

Byrd, a midfielder from Columbia, Ill., has 28 goals and 18 assists during her first three years of high school. She had 16 goals and 13 assists as a junior last season.

Byrd's older sister is Taylor Byrd, who just completed her freshman season as a member of the Southeast soccer team.

Hight, a defender from Bakersfield, Calif., has been a three-year letterwinner entering her senior season. She led her high school team in goals, assists and points as a sophomore.

Shulman, from Bloomington, Ill., already has compiled 64 goals and 54 assists heading into her senior season at Normal Community High School. She had 24 goals and 26 assists as a junior.
