The Southeast softball team landed two players during the recent early signing period, including the sister of former Southeast baseball star and current minor league player Zach Borowiak.
Allie Borowiak, from Nashville, Ill., was an all-conference and all-region utility player last year as a freshman at John A. Logan College, where she batted .350.
Leigh Leonard, a senior at Marshall County (Ky.) High School, won 17 games with a 1.65 earned-run average as a pitcher last year while also batting .340 to earn all-region honors.
