The Southeast Missouri State baseball team will open its season in Pine Bluff, Ark., on Feb. 22 when it takes on Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the first of a four-game series.
The Redhawks' home opener is Feb. 29, when they welcome in Northern Colorado for a four-game set at Capaha Field.
Southeast will host 31 games at Capaha Field this spring.
The Redhawks will play the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., on Feb. 26, and travel to the University of Memphis for a three-game series in March.
Among the nonconference games at home, Southeast will play Saint Louis on March 11, Missouri State on March 25 and 26, and Southern Illinois on April 8.
The Redhawks open Ohio Valley Conference play March 21 when Tennessee Tech comes to Capaha Field.
"It's going to be an exciting year, especially with 31 home games," Southeast coach Mark Hogan said in a statement. "It will be very entertaining for the fans, and the OVC will be a balanced league. I think five or six teams could win the league. We will benefit by hosting five conference series, which is one more OVC series than we play on the road."
The Redhawks went 32-24 overall and 16-10 in the OVC last year. The team returns 10 position players, including OVC freshman of the year Jim Klocke, and 10 pitchers, including second-team all-OVC hurler Dustin Renfrow.
