The Southeast Missouri State women's tennis team picked up its first wins of the season Friday at Fort Wayne, Ind.
The Redhawks (2-3) defeated Cleveland State 4-3, then disposed of Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne 5-2.
Southeast split the singles matches with Cleveland State but won two of three doubles matches for the victory.
The Redhawks had little trouble with IPFW, winning four of six singles matches and picking up two of three doubles matches.
"It's nice to be on a short, two-match win streak," Southeast coach Jay Pacelli said, "but we're looking for more.
Southeast will take on Oakland (Mich.) at noon today at Fort Wayne.

The Southeast women's gymnastics team moved above the .500 mark Friday night, beating Illinois State 189.800-187.625 at Houck Field House.
Southeast (4-3) received another strong performance from freshman Sandra Blake, who won the all-around with a score of 38.675. Teammate Brystol Powelski followed in second place at 37.825.
Blake also captured bars (9.800) and floor (9.775). She was third on vault (9.600).
Finishing second for the Redhawks were Starlyn Schwartz on vault (9.625) and Maureen Grimaldi on bars (9.700). Schwartz was third on beam (9.600), while Powelski placed third on bars (9.675).
