The Southeast Missouri State men's cross country team finished second Saturay at the Saluke Invitational in Carbondale, Ill.
Southeast finished behind host Southern Illinois.
Sophomore Kevin McNab led the men with a third-place finish in 25 minutes. Senior Chris Herron finshed 11th in 25:29.94, freshman Dustin Davis was 13th in 25:38.12, and sophmore Brandon Karcher was 14th in 25:39.05.
The Southeast women finished seventh.
Sophomore Juli Koenegstein posted a time of 18:47:11 to place 17th.
Junior Sarah Velerst finished 30th with a time of 19:25.32, and sophomore Brittni Peck placed 32nd in 19:29.89. Freshman Stephanie Harres rounded out the scoring in 50th place with a time of 20:04.97.
The Redhawks compete Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind.
