The Southeast Missouri State volleyball team broke a four-match losing streak Saturday by beating visiting Samford in four games.
Southeast won 30-25, 28-30, 30-22, 30-8 as the Redhawks improved to 11-13 overall and 5-5 in Ohio Valley Conference play. Samford is 6-18 and 1-9.
Jessica Koeper led the Redhawks with 21 kills and 24 digs. Freshman Hannah Weis had 16 kills and Brenna Schlader added 11.
Freshman Sarah Barth had a triple-double with 45 assists, 17 digs and 10 kills.
Freshman Molly Davis had 23 kills, followed by Alyssa Aston with 14 and freshman Taylor Harbster with 11.
Southeast plays 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Louis University.
