ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Rams have tough opening and closing stretches in the 2009 schedule released Tuesday. Three of the first four games and four of the last five are on the road.

The Rams, 2-14 last year, open on the road for the second consecutive season, playing Seattle on Sept 13. They'll play at Washington in Week 2 before the home opener Sept 27 against Green Bay, then hit the road again at San Francisco on Oct. 4.

The Rams' bye week comes at the midpoint of the season, after eight games.

Other home games are Minnesota (Oct. 11), Indianapolis (Oct. 25), New Orleans (Nov. 15), Arizona (Nov. 22), Seattle (Nov. 29), Houston (Dec. 20) and San Francisco (Jan. 3).
