Scott City's volleyball team eased by visiting Perryville 25-14, 25-20 Monday night.

The Rams improved to 7-4-1 with the win, while Perryville fell to 8-7-4.

Lindsey Amick had nine assists for Scott City, Kacie Ritter had five kills and Valerie Gibbons added four kills.

Jen Ponder led the Pirates with three kills.

Perryville's junior varsity squad won 25-18, 25-16.

Jackson 25 25

Park Hills Central 12 18

Jackson had no trouble with Park Hills Central in a road win.

Amanda Peiffer had seven blocks and six kills for the Indians (12-4), and Shay Priester had six blocks and six kills. Jodie Gipson had 11 blocks and Roxy Hudak added 10 digs.

JV -- PHC won 21-25, 29-27, 25-22; Freshmen -- Jackson won 25-9, 25-19

Bell City 25 25

Puxico 20 17

Bell City defeated Puxico on the road.

Codie Lancaster led the Cubs (14-3-1) with 15 assists and seven digs. Jenny Lathum had 13 digs and five kills, and Rachel Spears added five aces, four stuff-blocks and five kills.

Advance 25 25

Richland 7 14

Advanced made quick work of host Richland in two sets.

Gina Moroni led Advance (5-4-1) with 10 kills.

Meadow Heights 25 28

Oak Ridge 20 26

Meadow Heights edged Oak Ridge on the road in two sets.

Hannah Sedgewick had eight digs for Oak Ridge (7-5-2). Jessica Seyer had seven kills, Amanda King had five kills and Tavvi Ruesler had six digs.

JV -- Meadow Heights won 25-5, 23-25, 25-6.

Woodland fell to 6-6 with a road loss.

Notre Dame 7, Ste. Genevieve 0

Beth Schnurbusch struck out five and allowed just one hit to improve to 12-0 with a home win.

Cortney Ostendorf and Allison Peters had two hits apiece for the Bulldogs (19-2).

Alex Fowler threw a no-hitter as Notre Dame's JV won 4-0.

Chris Shelton and Steven McKinney each scored two goals in a home rout.

Andrew Lorenz, Cameron Keller, Brian Davidson, Matt Mueller and Curtis Sturms added goals for the Indians (4-3-2). Josh LaForest, Shelton, Sturms and McKinney (2) had assists.

Tyler Holman recorded the shutout.

JV -- Jackson won 10-0.

OTHER EVENTS

Central's JV football team defeated Sikeston 7-0 on the road.

The Tigers (1-1) scored on a two-yard run by Allen Walker, which followed an interception by Matt Willingham.

Central's Jameel Thomas sealed the game with an interception.
