Another round of wet weather Wednesday once again postponed several baseball and soccer district tournaments.
The Class 5 District 1 baseball tournament championship between third-seeded Jackson and top-seeded Poplar Bluff has been rescheduled for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Wilson Rozier Park in Farmington.
The Class 3 District 2 semifinals will be played today at Benny Hillhouse Memorial Park in Charleston. Top-seeded Scott City will open at 5 p.m. against fifth-seeded Saxony Lutheran, followed by second-seeded Kelly and third-seeded East Prairie at 7:30 p.m. The championship is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday.
The Class 2 District 3 semifinals and championship will also take place today. Top-seeded host Greenville and fourth-seeded Chaffee will open at noon, followed by second-seeded St. Vincent and third-seeded Puxico at 2 p.m. with the championship immediately following at 4 p.m.
The Class 1 District 2 championship between No. 1 Bell City and second-seeded host Oran will be played today at 4:30 p.m.
In girls soccer, the Class 1 District 1 championship game between top-seeded Saxony Lutheran and second-seeded host St. Vincent will be played at 6 p.m. today at the Perryville Soccer Complex. The winner will advance to face The Principia on next weekend in the first round of sectionals with a location and time to be determined.
