NEELYVILLE — The Neelyville Tigers defeated the Clearwater Tigers 93-69 at home Tuesday night in an Ozark Foothills Conference contest.

Preston Goodnight led Neelyville’s scoring with 21 points, with Casen Stephens putting in 17 points in the victory.

“We were able to get an early lead and maintain it throughout the game,” said Neelyville head coach Brad Burdin.

Caruthersville 64, Doniphan 36

The Caruthersville Tigers won on the road over the Doniphan Dons Tuesday night.

“We did not come out ready tonight,” said Doniphan head coach Daniel Cagle.

No scoring information was available at press time for this game.

Westwood Baptist 60, Bismarck 36

The Westwood Baptist Eagles went on the road to beat the Bismarck Indians on Tuesday night.

The Eagles’ top scorer was James Hawley, with a game-high 27 points, and Jeffrey VanDover with 12.

“The boys played hard and executed in every area of the game,” said WBA head coach Josh Hawley. “It was a great team effort and win.”

Bismarck’s top scorers were Jordan Ketcherside with 10 points and Sven Wilson with eight.

Greenville 51, Twin Rivers 32

The Greenville Bears won on the road over the Twin Rivers Royals Tuesday night in Broseley.

Greenville head coach Nathan Walk described it as a “very physical game.”

Bunker 57, East Carter 45

The Bunker Eagles won a road game against the East Carter Redbirds Tuesday night in Ellsinore.

Bunker’s leading scorers were Cade Sutton with a game-high 26 points and Romello Henderson with 17.

The Redbirds were paced by Kasen McCarty with 21 points and Robert Henning with 14.

“Still too many unforced errors on our end that show up big time in close games,” said Redbirds head coach Jordan Penn.

South Iron 51, Van Buren 33

The South Iron Panthers won on the road over the Van Buren Bulldogs on Tuesday night.

Hayes Townsley led Van Buren with 13 points.

Puxico 74, Bell City 41

The Puxico Indians racked up a convincing road victory at Bell City Tuesday night.

Cole Barnfield scored 14 for Puxico, with Duncan Crabb adding 13. All but two players on the Indians’ roster scored in the game.

“We played well as a team and shared the ball well,” said Puxico head coach Bryant Fernetti.

Bell City’s leading scorer was Drew Roberts with 10 points.

Portageville 61, Campbell 54

The Portageville Bulldogs won at home over the Campbell Camels Tuesday night.

Portageville was led by Jamarion Smith with 18 points. Campbell’s Ben Rowland scored a game-high 22 points in a losing effort.

Risco 68, Clarkton 64

The Risco Tigers won at home over the Clarkton Reindeer Tuesday night despite a game-high 31-point effort from Clarkton’s Owen Morgan.

Risco had twin scoring leaders, with Sammy Smith and Reiley Calvert both scoring 15 points. Clarkton’s Clayton Godsey scored 17 points.

“Risco came out and played really well,” said Clarkton head coach Cole McBroom. “We’ve just got to continue to get better and grow. Risco is a good team.”

GIRLS

Neelyville 72, Clearwater 18

The Neelyville Lady Tigers crushed their visiting counterparts, the Clearwater Lady Tigers Tuesday night on the strength of a 50-4 first half.

Neelyville’s scoring was led by Parker Ernst with 17 points and Layni Dobbins with 11.

Makinlee Keister was Clearwater’s leading scorer with six points.

Twin Rivers 53, Greenville 30

The Twin Rivers Lady Royals won at home over the Greenville Lady Bears Tuesday night on the strength of game-high scorer Charly Johnson with 13 points and teammate Amelia Douglas with 11.

“I’m proud of the team and the defensive effort,” said Twin Rivers head coach David Crockett. “The offense is starting to come around. Still working to get better each game.”

The Lady Bears’ top scorers were Matti Looney with seven points and Presley Walk with six.

Bunker 66, East Carter 65

The visiting Bunker Lady Eagles edged the East Carter Lady Redbirds in a close-fought contest Tuesday night in Ellsinore.

Tied at 32 at halftime, East Carter led by one after the third quarter, but Bunker outscored them by two points in the final period for the one-point win.

Bunker’s Kaitlyn Belk led all scorers with 32 points.

The Lady Redbirds were led by Brooklyn Kearbey with 20 points and Parker Golden with 15.

South Iron 75, Van Buren 42

The South Iron Lady Panthers won on the road over the Van Buren Lady Dawgs Tuesday night.

South Iron was led by Anna Parker with 26 points and Madison Ayers with 24.

Van Buren’s leading scorer was Ella Wilbanks with 11 points.

Ellington 71, Summersville 24

The Ellington Lady Whippets won on the road over the Summersville Wildcats Tuesday night.

Kaylee King led Ellington with 49 points.
