Poplar Bluff's boys' team, ranked No. 3 in the state, will play No. 4 Cape Girardeau Central in the first round at 6 p.m. Feb. 19. Second-seeded Jackson will play No. 3 Farmington at 7:30 p.m. The championship will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

In the girls' tournament, Poplar Bluff, ranked No. 1 in the state, will play No. 4 Farmington at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20. Jackson, seeded second, will play No. 3 Central at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20. The championship will be at 6 p.m. Feb. 22.

The winners will play the Class 4A, District 2 winners Feb. 27 at the Farmington Civic Center.

Girls' Basketball

Notre Dame 86, Doniphan 59

Notre Dame scored 32 first-quarter points en route to their 21st victory of the year.

Led by Ashley Millham, who scored 26 points, Lisa Millham scored 12 points and Courtney Vickery added 10. Notre Dame is 21-2 and on a 10-game winning streak.

Cape Central 48, Sikeston 26

SIKESTON, Mo. -- After a strong first and fourth quarter, the Tigers won by 22 behind 17 points from Alex Wieser and 15 points from Sarah Hyslop.

Central is 16-8.

Jackson 65, Farmington 51

JACKSON, Mo.-- Behind a 22-point performance from Jenna Leet and 10 points from Kristen Howard, the Indians cruised to a 14-point win over Farmington.

That win makes it five in a row for Jackson, now a15-8.

Charleston 69, Chaffee 56

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Despite 32 points from Jennifer Vandeven, Chaffee (4-14) fell to Charleston.

Missy Whitney paced Charleston (16-4) with 27, while Monisha Murray had 13 and Dreelle Mathis 10. April Stafford added 10 for Chaffee.

Oran 50, St. Vincent 32

ORAN, Mo.-- Oran improved to 11-6 with a 27-point effort from Amanda Eftink and 10 points from Anilise Lange.

The Eagles put the game away early, outscoring St. Vincent 22-7 in the first quarter.

Scott City 57, Portageville 53

SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Sophomore Loren Groves' 26 points paced Scott City (9-11) in a close finish.

Jenny Pinkston added 12 for the Red Devils.

Kelly 64, Scott Co. Central 47

BENTON, Mo. -- Kelly clinched a share of the Scott-Mississippi Conference title as it improved to 6-0 with one conference game remaining.

Bridgett Riley led Kelly (19-3) with 26 points and Shannon DeShaney scored 11. Janet Penrod (17), Stephanie Maney (12) and Jennifer Hoots (10) paced Scott County Central (7-9).

Perryville 57, Fredericktown 52 (OT)

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo.-- Despite not leading until overtime, Perryville outlasted Fredericktown on the road.

Amanda Nuyt had 18 and April Lorenz led the way with 23 points and 11 boards. The Lady Pirates are now 15-9.

Delta 67, Greenville 44

GREENVILLE, Mo. -- Rebecca Below and Rebecca Cook scored 16 points apiece to lead Delta (16-5).

Sarah Jo Cook had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Boys' Basketball

St. Vincent 80, Fredericktown 70

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Led by Tyler Wengert's 27 points, St. Vincent placed four players in double figures.

Andrew Prost and Matt Wengert each had 17 and Adam Bockman 12 for St. Vincent (10-8). Jared Quinton paced Fredericktown with 28.

Marquand 81, Greenville 56

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Heath Stephen's 35 points helped Marquand reach .500 at 11-11.

Ryan Stephens and Jared Kunz had 13 apiece and Jason Thomas 10 as Marquand won its third straight.
