Ponder, a senior wide receiver from Southeast Missouri State University, was one of three receivers picked for the first team in The Associated Press I-AA All-America football selections Thursday. Ponder also was chosen this week for the All-America team determined by the American Football Coaches Association.

Ponder is a 6-foot-2 senior from Tulsa, Okla., who set school records for receptions, yards and touchdowns as part of the Indians' 8-4 season.
