The Plaza Tire Capahas continued to sizzle at home Saturday.

The Capahas swept a doubleheader from the Little Rock (Ark.) Rangers in the first-ever meeting between the teams.

Manager Jess Bolen's squad captured the opener 4-1 and rolled 21-0 in the nightcap. Both games were seven innings.

The Capahas improved their record to 24-6, including 19-0 at Capaha Field. They'll look to finish off a perfect home record today when the same two teams square off in a 1:30 p.m. doubleheader.

Dustin Hunter pitched six innings for the victory in the opener. He allowed one run on no hits while striking out seven and walking two.

Tanner Hiett worked the final inning for a save.

The Capahas grabbed a 2-0 first-inning lead on a sacrifice fly by Sean Bard and an RBI single by Kody Campbell.

Jason Blum's solo home run in the third inning made it 3-0.

The Capahas, after getting six hits in the opener, pounded out 15 hits in the nightcap.

Jason Blum went 4 for 4 with three RBIs to lead the Capahas.

Adam Blum went 3 for 5 while Campbell, Kyle Marshall and Zack Smith all added two hits.

Smith pitched six innings for the win. He allowed four hits, struck out 10 and walked one. Jordan Kimball finished up with a hitless seventh inning.

The contest was scoreless through two innings before the Capahas put up three runs in the third inning. The Capahas added three more runs in the fourth inning, piled up nine runs in the fifth inning and six more runs in the sixth inning.
