Paducah posted three-run innings in the first, third and fourth, and enacted the 10-run rule with a five-run fifth.

Ford & Sons starter Jeff Beasley lasted 3 1-3 innings and was tagged with the loss. He was followed to the mound by Michel and Jeff Lappe.

In a doubleheader at Chaffee on Tuesday, Cape Legion dropped the opener 6-2 before winning the nightcap 5-4 in nine innings.
