ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Orlando Pace, who injured a thigh muscle in the fourth quarter of last week's upset of the Redskins, was listed as questionable Wednesday.

Pace was limited to individual drills in practice. Coach Jim Haslett said the seven-time Pro Bowler, whose last two seasons were cut short by injuries, would be day to day.

"I'd like to see Orlando play this week," Haslett said. "He did a little bit of running."

Adam Goldberg would fill in if Pace isn't ready for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Goldberg started two games at guard earlier in the season when Jacob Bell was injured.

Wide receiver Dane Looker returned to practice after being diagnosed with an abnormal artery on the right side of his brain. A CT scan done to clear Looker from a concussion against the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 28 revealed the abnormality.

Looker may not be in the lineup against the Cowboys, though. Haslett said rookie Keenan Burton is ready to return from arthroscopic knee surgery in mid-September, potentially taking Looker's spot.

The Rams signed running back Kenneth Darby to replace Brian Leonard, who was placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury. Offensive tackle Clint Oldenburg was signed to the practice squad.
