OVC honors setter Barth

Southeast Missouri State junior Sarah Barth has been named the Ohio Valley Conference setter of the week for volleyball.

Barth had 98 assists, 29 digs and 14 kills last week as the Redhawks went 2-0. She just missed a triple-double against Murray State with 58 assists, 20 digs and seven kills. She also set a career high with four aces. The Redhawks (11-11, 9-5) are tied for fourth place in the 10-team OVC as they have won four straight matches.

Southeast plays its final two home matches this week, 7 p.m. Friday against first-place Tennessee Tech (15-9, 12-2) and at 2 p.m. Saturday against ninth-place Jacksonville State (7-17, 3-11).
