The Otahkians, who beat Tech 3-1 after being swept in Friday's doubleheader with the Eaglettes, are in third place in the OVC, behind Eastern Kentucky (10-1) and Tennessee Tech (8-5). UTM is fourth out of 10 teams.
Following today's action, the Otahkians have a three-game conference home series this weekend against Jacksonville State (26-16, 5-6). There will be a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday and 1 p.m. single game Sunday.
