There was no perfect score Sunday for Southeast Missouri senior Ashley Godwin, who had one earlier this season.
But it was the perfect sendoff for Godwin and fellow senior Jacklyn Doebbler.
The pair helped the Otahkians complete an undefeated home season with a 194.850-193.975 victory over Illinois State on Senior Day at Houck Field House.
Godwin headed a 1-2-3 Southeast finish in the all-around competition and shared two-first place finishes in individual events with her teammates, who also took first in the other two events.
The Otahkians improved to 10-2 and ended their home schedule with a 5-0 mark.
"It was a good meet and good crowd," said Godwin of the 367 fans in attendance, the second-largest home total this season. "It was nice to end on a good note at home."
Godwin and sophomore teammate Tara Boldt each recorded a 9.875 in the balance team to share first. Godwin and junior Alexis Traylor both scored 9.850 to lead the competition in the floor exercise.
Southeast also had another shared first-place finish as junior Katie Bloom and freshman Brystol Powelski each had 9.750 in the vault, as did Illinois State's Pam Hoover.
"It was a tremendous day on the vault," Southeast coach Tom Farden said. "Brystol and Katie's vaults were solid."
Otahkian freshman Natalie Watts was the only outright winner in an event, scoring a personal-best 9.825 in the parallel bars. Bloom and Godwin tied for second at 9.775.
"Bars was again a great event for us," Farden said. ""Natalie getting her first win was awesome."
Southeast outscored Illinois State in three of the events, posting its highest total in the floor (48.950-48.800). The Otahkians also held an edge in the bars (48.725-48.050) and vault (48.575-48.075), while Illinois State had the high total in the beam (49.050-48.600).
Godwin finished with a 39.100 in the all-around and was followed by Bolt (38.750) and Bloom (38.625).
Doebbler tied for fourth in the floor with a 9.800 in her final home appearance. Southeast junior Traci Jo Flippo, scheduled to graduate in May, also participated in her final home meet and tied for fifth in the uneven bars (9.675).
"The three that are departing will be difficult to replaced and impossible to forget," Farden said.
The Otahkians return to action Friday at the University of Arkansas.
