CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team suffered a five-game setback at the hands of host Southern Illinois Tuesday night.

The Otahkians, in dropping their third straight match to fall to 4-4, were defeated 15-10, 12-15, 15-6, 5-15, 15-13 by the Salukis (3-4).

Freshman Krista Haukap led the Otahkians offensively with 20 kills while Jackie Derwort added 18 to go along with 11 digs.

Setter Tuba Meto notched a triple-double with 13 kills, 18 digs and 58 assists.

Marlo Moreland led SIU's attack with 24 kills.

Southeast, which has not played a home match yet this season, will continue on the road this weekend during the St. Louis University Tournament that will be played Friday and Saturday.
