MARTIN, Tenn. -- Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team improved to 3-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference by beating UT-Martin 15-8, 15-5, 15-12 Tuesday at Skyhawk Fieldhouse before 132.

The Otahkians (11-4, 3-0) extended their OVC win streak to 31 matches.

Southeast's Krista Haukap led all players with 15 kills while teammate Jackie Derwort added 11.

Last year's OVC player of the year, Tuba Meto, totaled 36 assists and 16 digs. Cathy Prichard led the Otahkians with 17 digs.

"We wanted to play some young players tonight," said Southeast coach Cindy Gammon. "UT-Martin . . . was a little shorthanded."

The Skyhawks (3-8, 0-4 OVC) lost their fifth successive match.
