MURRAY, Ky. -- Southeast Missouri State University's volleyball team won its seventh straight match Tuesday night, downing host Murray State 15-13, 15-9, 15-3.

The Otahkians are 13-7 overall and 8-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play. MSU fell to 8-10 overall, 5-3 in the league.

Angie Aschoff had 15 kills while Krista Haukap added 13 and Lea Beckemeyer had 10. Haukap led the way with 15 digs and Amy Henken had 42 assists.

Southeast will compete in the SIU Tournament this weekend.

OTAHKIAN NOTES: Derwort was named the OVC offensive player of the week after setting a Southeast and OVC single-match record with a 1.000 hitting percentage (10 kills, 0 errors, 10 attempts) in Saturday's win over Tennessee State.
