The Southeast Missouri State University volleyball team completed an Ohio Valley Conference weekend sweep Saturday, beating Morehead State University 15-6, 15-6, 15-7 at Houck Field House.

The Otahkians also swept Eastern Kentucky 3-0 Friday night in the first game of the weekend series.

Southeast Missouri, which improved to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the OVC, handed Morehead State its fourth straight loss, which dropped them to 2-15 overall and 1-5 in the OVC. The Otahkians have now won their last four matches and 11 of their last 12.

Junior outside hitter Krista Haukap and senior middle blocker Angie Aschoff led the team in kills with 13 and 11 respectively. Aschoff also posted a team-high .667 hitting percentage.

Senior setter Amy Henken passed out 38 assists. On the defensive side, Lori Lange and Bobbi Carlile led the Otahkians with nine digs each.

Southeast Missouri will visit rival Southern Illinois-Carbondale Tuesday at 7 p.m.
