OTAHK SPIKERS SWEEP UT-MARTIN

Southeast Missouri's volleyball team closed its regular season schedule Saturday with a 15-6, 15-3, 15-4 sweep of the University of Tennessee-Martin at Houck Field House.

Southeast will take a 21-11 record into next weekend's OVC Tournament in Charleston, Ill.

Tennessee-Martin fell to 15-15.

Lea Beckmeyer led four Otahkians in double-figure kills with 15. Jackie Derwort finished with 14, Angie Aschoff had 13 and Krista Haukap had 12.

Mandy Edgington led the defensive effort with 13 digs while Kandi Candelarie had 23 assists.

Jodie Hempen led Martin with 15 kills and 16 digs.
