Several Oran baseball players were involved in a traffic accident Tuesday en route to a playoff game in Columbia.
The players were not injured in the accident, which occurred along Interstate 70 east of Columbia.
Little information was available from Troop F of the Missouri Highway Patrol in Jefferson City because of the number of accidents Tuesday.
Thunderstorms and heavy rains across the middle section of the state caused some weather-related travel problems.
Some Oran players had minor scrapes, but no serious injuries, said Tom Anderson, superintendent of schools.
Passengers in the van said it had been raining and there were several other accidents along that stretch, Anderson said.
The team traveled to Columbia in two vans rather than a bus. The playoff game is set for 5 p.m. today.
