STILLWATER, Okla. -- Nationally-ranked Oklahoma State swept its two-game series with Southeast Missouri State University's baseball team Wednesday with a 10-5 victory.

The Cowboys, 25-9 and ranked No. 10 in the nation, had a little easier time than in Tuesday's 9-7 come-from-behind victory.

After Southeast (8-18) scored an unearned run in the first, Oklahoma State retaliated with single runs in the first and second off Indian starter Lanson DeBrock and never trailed again. The Cowboys added two runs in the fourth as David Michel relieved DeBrock.

Southeast closed to within 4-2 in the sixth on freshman Jeremy Johnson's first collegiate home run.

The Cowboys broke the game open in the seventh with four runs for an 8-2 lead and added two more in the eighth for a 10-2 advantage.

Kyle Yount and Steve Goodman hit RBI doubles in a three-run ninth for the Indians.

LaMonte Collier and Brian Pepper each had two hits as Southeast had 10 overall against five Cowboy pitchers. OSU starter Brian Thomas (1-1) allowed one hit in three innings.

OSU finished with 16 hits.

DeBrock allowed seven hits in 3 2-3 innings, striking out three and walking two. Michel gave up five hits in 2 2-3 innings and Dan Huesgen was touched for four hits in 1 2-3 innings.

Southeast returns to OVC action Saturday when Eastern Illinois visits Capaha Field.
