Oak Ridge's volleyball team edged visiting Scott City 21-25, 27-25, 26-24 in a tight match Thursday.

Oak Ridge's Erin Hahs, with five kills and three blocks, and Kelsey Shaper, with six kills and two aces, were the difference. On defense, Leah Myers and Jessica Seyer led Oak Ridge with five digs each.

Kacie Cartwright led Scott City (13-6) with seven kills. Abbie Cook added three kills and six blocks. Jenny Heisserer and Jenny Glency added four kills apiece, and Lindsey Amick had 18 assists.

Advance 25-25

Central 13-8

Advance moved to 8-3-1 with its road win over Central. Kacie Ritter led Advance with six kills, while Kaci Cooper led with six aces and four digs. Alicia Reeves led Advance with nine assists.

JV- Advance defeated Central in two sets.

Leopold 25-25

Zalma 15-18

Leopold won at home with a balanced attack. Amber Nenninger had five kills, five digs and seven blocks, and fellow senior Lori VanderMierden had six kills, eight digs and two blocks. Rachel Crader led the team with 14 assists.

JV- Leopold won in two sets.

Dexter 11-25-25

Bell City 25-15-23

Bell City lost a close match in three games on the road.

Woodland 25-25

Chaffee 9-12

Woodland swept the Red Devils at home.

Woodland's JV won 25-4, 25-21.

St. Vincent 21-29-25

Perryville 25-27-17

St. Vincent won a marathon second game and finished off rival Perryville in three games on the road.

St. Vincent's JV won 25-22, 23-25, 25-16.

Jackson goalie Tyler Holmon stopped everything that went his way in a road win. Chris Kraust and Tyler Beussink led the scoring for the Indians with two goals apiece. Chris Bramlett and Chris Shelton chipped in assists.

Jackson's JV won 5-0 with a shutout from Levi Lewis. Spencer McCormick, Andrew Weissell, Trey Rush, Andrew Lornz and Matt Mueller all scored goals.
