Oak Ridge's boys basketball team picked up win No. 1 with a 72-44 rout of visiting Valle Catholic on Thursday night.
The Blue Jays jumped out to a 36-14 halftime lead and cruised from there. Lance Felter led Oak Ridge (1-5) with 18 points, Brian Ruesler scored 14 and Austin Morrison had 12.
