The champion of the Oak Ridge Baseball Tournament will have to wait to be crowned. Darkness causing the championship game on Saturday to be suspended after three innings.

St. Vincent led 11-3 over Leopold after three innings. The championship game will be completed before the regular-season game between the two teams May 12 at Leopold.

St. Vincent defeated Woodland 11-0 earlier Saturday to advance to the championship.

Oak Ridge won the third-place game 12-11 against Woodland with a game-winning two-run double from Austin Hahs in the bottom of the seventh, his third game-winning hit of the season.

Johnny Price, Hahs and Ryan Pohlman had two hits apiece for the Blue Jays (4-3). Price had five RBIs.

Anthony Grojean had four hits for Woodland.

In the consolation final, Meadow Heights knocked off Delta 15-3 in five innings.

Terry Wagner extended his streak of reaching base to 13 straight at-bats before grounding out. Wagner was 2-for-3. John Long added three hits for Meadow Heights, and Derek Hanners had two. Heath Fulton pitched four innings for the win.

In the consolation semifinal, Delta got two hits apiece from Tyler Martin and Jim Eftink in a 19-0 three-inning win over Zalma. Caleb Guilliams allowed one hit in three innings for the win.

Jason Meystedt pitched a complete game two-hitter to lead Jackson to a home win.

Meystedt struck out three, walked two and did not allow an earned run.

The Indians (8-1) managed just three hits, but got RBIs from Derrick Biri and Meystedt.

Molly Hartman scored two goals and assisted on another to propel Jackson on the road.

Central (6-2) suffered a pounding in St. Louis at the hands of the state's second-ranked team, as Ursuline Academy improved to 10-0-1.

"They're excellent," Central coach Tom Doyle said. "I told the girls this is a clinic on how soccer should be played."

JV -- Ursuline won 8-0.

Villa Duchesne 3, ND 0

Notre Dame fell to .500 with a home loss. The Bulldogs (4-4-1) will travel to Central for a Monday night game.

JV -- Villa Duchesne won 2-0.

TRACK AND FIELD Notre Dame Invitational

Notre Dame dominated its own invitational, winning both the girls and boys sections of the meet by large margins.

Notre Dame placed first in 15 girls and 14 boys events.

Saxony had its best time ever in the boys 1,600-meter relay while finishing second in the event with a time of 3:39.73.

* Due to incorrect information provided the paper, Central tennis player Josiah Johnson's victory in a match Wednesday was listed as a loss in Thursday's edition. Johnson defeated Marion's Tim Crosby 10-8.
