Notes: Crystal City broke a seven-game losing streak to Scott City last season with its first win over the Rams. Both teams own win over only common opponent, Chaffee. Crystal City has lost its last five games after opening season 2-1. Crystal City quarterback Bobby Schembre is out for the season with a broken arm. Zac Rundel, a more run-oriented quarterback, has started the last two weeks at quarterback. Scott City sophomore Matt Schaeffer leads team with 372 yards rushing. Senior tight end Chad Weatherspoon leads Rams with 310 yards receiving. Scott City running back Josh Carroll returns from shoulder injury. Rams have played last two games without running back Jerry Jackson, who is no longer on the team. Jackson was leading the Rams with 280 yards rushing. Scott City has not scored more than 14 points in a game.

Notes: Teams met in last year's Class 5 quarterfinals. Jackson's Stuart McIntosh has rushed for 573 yards in the last two games and has 1,000 yards on the season. In Parkway West's three losses its biggest margin of loss has been seven points. Senior Will Meyers leads Longhorns in both rushing (954) and receiving yardage (219). He's scored 13 touchdowns with no other player having more than three.CLASS 4, DISTRICT 1

Perryville (2-6, 0-1) at Central (7-1, 1-0)

Other district game: Poplar Bluff (4-4, 1-0) at Sikeston (5-2, 0-1)

Notes: Central has defeated Perryville in district play the past two seasons. Tigers are 7-1 for first time since 1987. Perryville's two wins have been over Windsor and De Soto. Both teams lost to only common opponent -- North County. Pirates have scored 54 points through eight games. Central averages 35.4 points a game. Perryville has not scored more than 19 points in a game. Central has won seven straight district games. The Tigers will be without four starters -- three due to suspensions.
