The Notre Dame girls basketball team won the consolation bracket in the Farmington Invitational on Wednesday with a 59-50 victory against Dexter at Dexter.
The consolation bracket was originally supposed to conclude on Dec. 2 in Farmington, but weather conditions forced the games to be postponed. Dexter served as the host for the consolation bracket games.
The Bulldogs (5-1) took control of the game with a 14-6 scoring edge in the second quarter.
Notre Dame led 30-24 at the half.
Kristain Burger led Notre Dame with 19 points and Meridith Medlin added 12.
Central went 0-3 in the tournament after a 40-31 loss to Poplar Bluff in the seventh-place game.
Courtney Schuessler led the Tigers (1-4) with 10 points.
