The Notre Dame boys tennis team concluded its season with a 6-0 loss to host John Burroughs in the Class 1 quarterfinals Saturday.

The Bulldogs, who finished their season with an 11-4 record in duals, had beaten Windsor 5-1 in the Class 1 sectionals earlier in the day.

"We played well to get to the quarterfinals," Notre Dame coach Seth Benton said. "We were able to get past Windsor, but ran into a very good John Burroughs team. The boys had a good season. They were able to build upon what was started last year."

Notre Dame won the Nos. 2-6 singles matches against Windsor, sweeping all 10 sets. Nick Essner, Webb Marshall, Byron Reeves, Ethan Derrington and Zach Anderson recorded the wins for the Bulldogs.
