Woodland beat Oak Ridge 63-55 in the consolation semifinals to earn a berth in today's final. The Cardinals will play Delta today at 5 p.m.

Seth Gaines scored 18 points to lead the Cardinals, and Josh Hahn added 15.

"We had great defensive intensity, and we were able to get a lot of fast-break layups off the defense in the first half," Woodland coach David Mirly said. "Then we were able to knock down some free throws down the stretch and showed a lot of composure."

Woodland took a 37-22 lead into the half as Hahn scored 13 or his points in the second quarter to key Woodland's 25-11 advantage in the frame.

"That was our big quarter, and Josh was a big part of that," said Mirly.

Oak Ridge charged back in the second half to tie the game in the second half, but Seth Gaines drained a 3-pointer with about 2 minutes remaining to stretch Woodland's lead from three to six points.

Dylan Abbott scored 18 to lead Oak Ridge. Garret White added 13 and Lance Felter had 11.
