Notre Dame freshman swimmer Brittany Menz made her fifth state cut of the season in the 100 free Friday, as the Bulldogs won a dual meet at Principia 109-76.

Menz won the event in 55.98 seconds. So far Menz has made the state cut in the 100 free, 200 IM, 200 free, 50 free and 500 free.

Ashly Ducharme had victories in the 200 IM and 100 back.

Austin Dumey had three hits and six RBIs to lead the undefeated Eagles to a home win.

Caleb Seyer and Kody Campbell added two hits and a home run apiece for Oran (4-0).

Chris Asmus pitched around six walks in 2 2/3 innings for the win. Freshman Jayden Pobst struck out six and allowed one hit over the final 2 1/3 innings.

Notre Dame scored three goals within the first 15 minutes and breezed to a road win.

Brooke Beussink and Meridith Medlin paced the Bulldogs (5-1) with two goals apiece.

Destiny Dirnberger added a goal, and Beussink (2), Medlin and Claire Goodson had assists.

Shelby Hotop netted the lone goal for St. Vincent (2-3-2).
