Notre Dame, which fell to 7-15, got 14 points from Zach Miller and 13 from Michael Wehner.

"I thought we played pretty well," said Notre Dame coach Chris Janet. "I was really impressed with Valle's team, especially for Class 1A. They've got a solid team and Meyer is an exceptional player both inside and outside."

The Bulldogs fell behind 20-13 after one quarter and never caught up, although they got to within four points in the third period before Valle pulled away again.

Notre Dame will close out the regular season Tuesday night at Malden.
