The Notre Dame Lady Bulldogs' 45-44 win over Farmington Wednesday night was the second 1-point victory over Farmington this year.

Farmington (11-4) had a chance to win the game, but missed two shots -- one coming off an offensive rebound -- in the closing seconds.

Ironically, the Lady Bulldogs (7-8) beat Farmington on a last-second put-back earlier this season.

"Farmington's got a good team," Notre Dame coach Jerry Grim said. "They really get after you on the perimeter. We were fortunate to get the win."

Randi Senciboy scored a game-high 11 points for Notre Dame.

Lisa Boyd and Brittany Duvall each scored 10 points for Farmington.

Notre Dame shot particualry well from 3-point range, making 6 of 14 from behind the arc. But the Lady Bulldogs made just 10 of 35 from 2-point range.

Valle-Ste. Genevieve 56, Chaffee 46

CHAFFEE -- The injury-plagued Lady Red Devils were outscored 19-10 in the second quarter and couldn't recover Wednesday night.

Jill Little scored a team-high 14 points, while Jennifer Finley added 10 for Chaffee, which fell to 5-8.

Jodi Reich scored 20 for Ste. Gen, followed by Kim Armbruste with 16.
