ND wrestlers place second at Brentwood meet

Notre Dame wrestlers claimed three individual titles as the Bulldogs placed second in the 10-team Brentwood Invitational on Saturday.

Jacob Murphy (140 pounds) and Trevor Foltz (171) recorded pins in the championship round, while Austin Kight (130) posted a 7-5 decision. All three Bulldogs went 5-0 in the meet.

Tyler Hulshof (152) and Trenton Gross (119) both finished second for Notre Dame, while Caleb Heisserer (103) placed third and Austin Harter (112) claimed fourth.

Notre Dame finished with 269 points, which was 16 points behind champion Madrid County Central.
