ND wrestlers earn medals

Notre Dame had two wrestlers medal Saturday at the Brentwood Invitational.

Freshman Austin Harter reached the championship match at 103 pounds, where he encountered a 4-0 loss to Trinity's Mike Taylor. Harter went 4-1 in the tournament.

At 112 pounds, freshman Trenton Gross claimed third with an 11-6 win against Eli Murray of Career Academy. Gross went 4-1 in the competition.

Notre Dame's Ryan Harter also reached the consolation championship, but he was forced to forfeit his match at 189 pounds due to injury. Harter went 2-2 in the meet, which was won by Blair Oaks.
