The Notre Dame boys soccer team outscored a pair of Kentucky opponents 12-0 on Saturday at the Kentucky Classic.
Notre Dame (7-2-1) first knocked off Marshall County 3-0. Abe Dirnberger scored twice and Jack Wedemeier added a goal. Ty Williams, Dirnberger and Jason Delgado had assists. Nathan Kolda recorded the shutout.
Notre Dame also routed Murray 9-0. Dirnberger added two more goals as seven Bulldogs scored. Tyler LeGrand, Wedemeier, Frankie Ellis, Williams, Eric Marquart, Brett Heischmidt and J.P. Thompson added goals.
Assists went to Kirk Boeller, Dirnberger, Ellis, LeGrand, Williams (3), Andrew Buelow and Wedemeier.
Kolda posted the shutout.
JV -- Notre Dame beat Marshall County 3-0 and Murray 7-0.
The Perryville boys cross country team finished second out of 15 teams at the Festus Bowles Invitational.
The Pirates tallied 59 points, following Ste. Genevieve's 48 points.
Perryville earned four individual medalist honors. Jesse Kueker placed second with a time of 17 minutes, 37 seconds, William Benline was seventh at 17:50, Kyle Bert placed 10th at 17:55, and Montana Giesler was 11th at 17:57.
The Perryville girls finished fourth with 128 points, following Ste. Genevieve (53), St. Clair (71) and De Soto (127).
Kendra Schilli placed eighth in 21:29 and Leslie Schilli was 13th at 21:52.
