ND places third in tourney

The Notre Dame wrestling team finished third in a 12-team tournament with a dual-meet format Saturday in Park Hills, Mo.

Notre Dame finished 3-2 in the duals. The Bulldogs defeated Hancock (57-21), Sullivan (48-28) and Brentwood (48-30). Notre Dame's losses came against St. Clair (54-15) and Hillsboro (67-9).

Notre Dame sophomore Trevor Foltz went 5-0 in his 171-pound matches. Caleb Heisserer (103) and Austin Kight (130) both went 4-1; Austin Harter (112), Matt Lathem (125) and Bryan Harter (215) all were 3-2; and Aaron Schlosser (119), Tyler Hulshof (152), Alex Elsey (160) and Bill Ayieko (HWT) all were 2-3.
